I am Dr. Suresh Chandra Satapathy, currently working as a Professor at the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. I hold a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU, Hyderabad, and an M.Tech from NIT Rourkela. With over 30 years of teaching and research experience, I am a Life Member of CSI and a Senior Member of IEEE. I served as the National Chairman for Educational and Research for 2015-17 of CSI and held positions as Secretary and Treasurer of the Computational Intelligence Society under the IEEE Hyderabad Chapter. Throughout my career, I have actively organized more than 59 international conferences as an Organizing Chair and have contributed to over 60 book volumes from Springer LNCS, AISC, LNEE, and SIST Series as a corresponding editor. My research interests lie in the fields of Swarm Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Mining. I have supervised more than 70 PG projects and currently guide 8 scholars pursuing their PhD degrees. One of my first PhD scholars received a GOLD medal for her outstanding work in Swarm Intelligence Optimization. With over 250 research articles published in various journals with SCI impact factors, SCOPUS index, and conference proceedings of Springer, IEEE, and others, I actively contribute to the academic community. I have delivered numerous keynote addresses and tutorials at various events in India and abroad. Collaboratively, I engage in research with esteemed institutions such as NTU Singapore, University of Leicester, DuyTan University, and several universities in the US, Taiwan, Japan, and Malaysia.
